Skimmer Pool
In a skimmer pool, the water level sits about 10–15 cm (4–6 inches) below the pool’s edge. Openings along the perimeter “skim” the surface, directing water to the pump through built-in skimmers—giving this design its name. Classic and versatile in both style and shape, skimmer pools are also one of the most cost-effective pool types.
Overflow Pool
An overflow pool has a channel running around the entire perimeter. The water sits level with the pool edge and gently spills into this channel, which is usually covered with plastic grating. In high-end residential pools the grating is often finished with tiles or stone for a more luxurious look.
Water from the channel flows into an underground balance tank, where it is stored before passing through the filtration system and being pumped back into the pool.
Infinity Pool
An infinity pool creates the illusion that water extends without boundaries, making it especially dramatic on elevated sites or where it overlooks a view. The effect is achieved by allowing water to spill over one or more edges into a hidden catch pool, where it is collected and recirculated back into the main pool.
Pool With Glass Wall
A glass wall is a striking pool feature that turns a swimming pool into a visual showcase. Acting as a clear underwater window without any top support beam, it creates the impression that the water ends vertically with no barrier. From the outside you can look straight into the pool without surface distortion, making it ideal for dramatic views and memorable photos—such as a swimmer captured partly above and below the water.
